DESCRIPTION:
The Safety Joint provides a means for releasing from a set of tools that are stuck in the hole.
The Safety Joint is released with left hand rotation with about 20% of the torque required to break other tool joints in the string. The Safety Jointrequires 5 ½ to 6 turns of left hand rotation to release.
