Position

We are currently recruiting for a Machinist in our Edmonton Machine Shop. This rewarding opportunity requires a strong machining background in a fast paced environment. Our Machinists will have the opportunity to develop new, industry specific tools and prototypes. This position offers growth and the opportunity for quick advancement.

Main Responsibilities

• Machining as required
• Provide training and mentorship
• Provide technical support
• Ensure proper documentation is completed
• Work closely with Engineers to develop new tool designs and prototypes
• Assist with identifying shop requirements
• Assist with job planning as required
• Assist with job quoting as required
• Assist with continuous improvements

Required Qualifications

• Journeyman
• Manual lathe operation
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English

Assets

• Manual milling experience
• Shaper experience
• Gun drilling experience
• CNC experience
• Quality control experience
• Downhole oilfield tools experience
• Welding experience
